The Ninth Edition of Club Sibarita Yucatán Food Fest, Presented by Bohemia, Starts on March 20!

Mérida, Yucatán – February 11, 2025 – After nine consecutive years of success, with over 100 participating chefs and nearly 18,000 attendees since 2017, the Club Sibarita Food Festival is back! Taking place from March 20 to 22, this renowned culinary festival will feature an exciting agenda filled with events that unite the best of gastronomy. Established and emerging chefs, traditional cooks, and culinary brands will once again gather in this extraordinary celebration of flavors.

This ambitious festival is designed to offer the ultimate culinary experience for businessmen, industry leaders, gastronomy students, and food enthusiasts. With over 3,000 guests expected over two days, the festival also provides a perfect networking platform where attendees and chefs can connect with sponsors and high-end gastronomy professionals

A Prestigious Culinary Award

Every year, Club Sibarita presents the Golden Key Award, a prestigious honor recognizing a chef’s outstanding culinary career. This year, the recipient is Jonatan Gómez-Luna, the mastermind behind Le Chique in Cancún, a restaurant that holds one Michelin star and is celebrated among Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. The Golden Key, designed by Eliana Palomo of Agua de Rosas, has been awarded since the festival’s first edition. Gómez-Luna will receive this prestigious honor during the opening dinner, “The Art of Fine Dining,” on March 20 at Casa Loreto 1893.

This exclusive pairing dinner will feature an extraordinary lineup of chefs, including Daniel Ron (Club Sibarita ambassador), José Castillo (Huniik), Sylvain Desbois (Écume), Odín Rocha (Pirules Garden Kitchen), and, of course, Jonatan Gómez-Luna, the Guest of Honor.

An Immersive Culinary Experience

On March 21, the festival moves to Cenote San Ignacio, where attendees will enjoy a unique cenote experience, culminating in a three-course lunch crafted by Chef Pedro May.

That evening, the highly anticipated Taste the Best event, presented by Palladium, will take place in Altozano. This grand gastronomic tasting and festival will feature over 20 top restaurants and has previously attracted a record 2,500 attendees.

Club Sibarita is known for innovation, and last year, guests loved the immersive tasting experiences. This year, even more exciting surprises await!

A Grand Closing in Valladolid

On March 22, the festival will conclude in the Magical Town of Valladolid with a special pairing dinner, “Oriundo del Sur”, featuring host chef Elio Xicum (Grupo Mesones) and Pedro Abascal (Primo, Playa del Carmen).
